Under conditions of low temperatures and seasonal ground changes, the priority is the safety of equipment and personnel, as well as the stability of production processes.

During the winter period, the following measures are applied:
- 1. Control of working route conditions. Daily inspection of ore transportation sections with recording of icing, freezing, and surface deformations.
- 2. Ice and moisture management. Prompt removal of snow and ice formations, control of meltwater accumulation on working roads and sites.
- 3. Regulation of traffic modes. Establishment of restrictions on speed, distance, and traffic order for mining equipment.
- 4. Load control. Temporary redistribution of cargo flows and limitation of loads on sensitive sections.
- 5. Technical condition of equipment. Enhanced control of braking systems, tires, steering systems, and stability systems of dump trucks.
- 6. Production discipline. Additional briefings for drivers and dispatchers on working in winter conditions.
- 7. Operational monitoring. Continuous monitoring of the situation with the possibility of immediate restriction or suspension of transportation when conditions deteriorate.
Operations are carried out in normal mode with increased requirements for control and safety.
